Some reminders for the upcoming two weeks
Tomorrow and Friday the Santa Shop will be set up and we will be called to shop. There is no set time so we will be called at some point of the day either Thursday or Friday. Please send in the envelope that was attached to the flyer that was sent home if you would like your child to participate.
On the last day of school, December 22, we will have pajama day. Your child can wear their pajamas to school that day. We will have our class party that day. If you would like to send in cards or small goodie bags, that is fine.  The children in the class are Andrew, Brenda, Mark, Meredith, Owen, Paul, and Tochi.
Please check the website family folder for the details about Lunch with Santa and the toy drive for HUMC and the giant Hershey bar raffle sponsored by the class of 2016.
The Christmas show is at 9 A.M. on Monday, December 14. It is approximately 45 minutes long and followed by refreshments. Your child should wear their best Christmas color clothes that day. You may take your child home with you after the performance if you wish to make it an all around special celebration. You are NOT required to take them at that time. Dismissal is regular time that day.

In class we have been very busy learning about our letter of the week, L. This just happens to be Lorraine Lonegan's favorite letter. It is Miss Lisa's favorite too! We worked specifically on L this Monday and Tuesday. Today we made a gingerbread cookie out of construction paper which is hanging in the hall. We also colored a picture of Blessed Virgin Mary who is waiting for Jesus' birth in this advent season as we are. We had show practice Monday morning and this morning and we had Spanish class on Monday. Tomorrow I plan to have the children make a paper bag Santa puppet. We will be having gym class also.
